GLENN EVANSMost of my work is 3-dimensional and my favorite medium is cast metal, particularly silicon bronze. I also work in wood and occasionally stone. Having been an admirer and observer of nature all my life and after studying biology through the microscope for 30 years I am creating sculptures inspired by this period of study. The mechanisms and structures mother nature has developed to solve the challenges of existence are amazing and enlightening. Bringing these to light in larger scale is educational as well as illuminating and inspiring to me.
